Always been a fabulous bank even though I've had no branch for 3 years, being in England. They own the Post Office so it can offer most branch services, and the 365 online is fabulous, though adding payees or changing your phone number is a bit draconian.

I am a pre 2017 pound coin. Those new kids took my job. Now, I feel worthless. Thanks to the nice folks at Bank of England for giving me a place in the museum. Not quite my old job, but haven't been put in a vending machine for ages!
I went to exchange some old twenty pound bills that went out of circulation and spent some time at the museum. It was time well spent. I enjoyed learning about the history of the bank, its architects, and was intrigued about how busy and crowded it was in the bank on the dividend day. A display of all the Bank of England notes was among my favorites, and of course who would refuse touching the real gold!

Great place for a registry office marriage. Friendly staff. Welcoming atmosphere.
A great location for a small - medium registry wedding. The building has great character, including octagonal council chambers, marble floors and large steel framed windows, that allow natural light to flood in... It really is a photographers dream.
Judd St, London WC1H 9JE, UK – 020 7974 4444
Efficient, organised and friendly. The staff were cheerful and quickly got my certificate sorted. Security answered my questions politely and were helpful.
The staff are lovely here. You know they're busy but they're always courteous and help you out as much as they can. I had a number of questions that I asked both online and in person and was always happy with the responses I got. The only thing that could use some improving is their website - some things aren't too easy to sort online and I had to email them, but got a call back and when dealing with the same issue in person they got everything sorted for me right there and then.

Finsbury Dental Care is the best dentist practice I have ever visited (and I have been to many after knocking my front tooth out when I was younger). I first saw Gavin Seal in relation to potential root canal treatment and he was brilliant and extremely honest (and actually ended up saving me around £700 when other dentists has recommended other procedures due to his extensive knowledge and practical experience!). I then continued having routine treatment at the practice with Adam Clapp who is extremely skilled, gentle and thorough. Adam always takes care in explaining things and puts me at ease. Unlike other dentists, I never feel rushed through my appointment and he always happy to answer any questions (and is also always on time). Adam is again very honest and if I need a filling/ treatment he will explain exactly why. I have also emailed the reception a few times with questions and he will personally respond with advice. I don't usually write reviews but feel this dentist deserves it!
Adam Clapp is a experienced and talented dentist who takes professional pride in doing an excellent job. He has a reassuringly calm and personable manner. I know he would be great with a nervous client. Highly recommended.

Posting today on behalf of Sarah the hygienist. She really is the best hygienist that has ever treated me - she is very thorough, does a highly professional job but above all is GENTLE! She takes time and care to ensure that discomfort is minimised. Thanks Sarah! 😁
I go for regular cleans with Renate who is such a great hygienist. She really looks after you and spends a lot of time making sure she gives you an incredible clean! Would 100% recommend her.

I saw Dr May, who settled my irrational fears about my upcoming procedure and made my experience a positive one. I am delighted with the outcome. Dr May took the time out to give me detailed information about my teeth and delivered a first class dental service!
Dr Nasim is an excellent dentist whose main priority is making sure their patients are comfortable and get the best dentistry they can offer. And also the receptionist and all the staff was very nice and friendly

Easy to find. Easy to make online appointments. Very reasonable prices compared to most. The consultancy fee is not mentioned - so the £155 is actually £210. The men's toilets- for the urine sample - are downstairs through public areas. Results are quick, staff are friendly.
Very easy to book an appointment. The clinic is very central. The staff is very friendly and the doctors listen what you have to say and give you time to explain the situation that brought you there without rushing. The blood tests were sent on the same date that you took the samples with an email explaining the results.

Extremely friendly and reassuring. Very good value. saves the stress of making the phone call to your GP to be told you cant be seen for 10 days. will definitely recommend.
The entrance/location is challenging to find at first but the service and doctors are great.

Whilst were sleeping, the NHS is still running and Teresa May is a mug. What was a very distressing matter, the out of hours staff ,Bussy, Nosizo and Rindai were the most helpful members of staff. It was a very personal issue and each individual from their own department ensured I got to the right place. The NHS needs more employees like those mentioned. Cannot fault them.
spent about 2 weeks here just before Xmas following a stroke. staff were amazing as were the doctors. amazing experience.

A FANTASTIC hospital. I think it must be the best one I’ve ever been to. Had a minor procedure done, had a separate single occupancy room for the day. Very nice view, great a la Carter lunch, absolutely SUPERB nursing staff who were knowledgable and with great bedside manners. The procedure itself was expertly done! Highly recommended!

Excellent medical support and treatment, outstanding hospital cafe food, best salad and best stew I've ever had and really tasty soup too. Only one glich, otherwise 5 star, I'm taking up with the fire service. 14 bin bag size bags of rubbish in the stairwell to the overnight stay bedrooms, on the first floor of 6 floors. Told that the entrance I came in was the only way out. A staff member showed me another way out, but said he wasn't meant to tell me. The manager said he shouldn't have told me!!(it's on the 6th floor! - with no fire exit notice, just a notice telling staff that they must not use this exit!). I look forward to this manager's letter, he promised within a week, after some pressure! He refused to deal with the situation, but anyone staying there, if the rubbish in the stairwell was on fire, the higher up you were, the less chance of survival, not being aware of the top exit. He said he'd speak to the fire officer who does the inspections, refused to give me the F.O's contact number or name, when I asked why, "Because he's a member of the Trust"!!!! Says he won't do anything straight away to resolve the concerns of rubbish in the stairwell (collected 4 x a day evidently), or the exits, until he's spoken to the Fire Officer. (or about confusing information about fire exits(s) or about the fire exit signage (where you follow the signage, on the floor you exit the stairwell, it doesn't show which way to turn in the corridor!). I know the manager was very busy doing year end figures, but really! REFUSING to tell or allow staff to tell where there are three possible exits, at least, rather than just the one where you came in, on the GROUND floor or sub basement!! Two other overnighters were rather relieved to know about the alternative ways out!
Probably one of the best. Considering it’s NHS you could mistake it for being private. Some of the best consultants here, up to date with the very latest technology, some amazing stuff they do here. My only criticism would be after procedures in the ward, there are very few staff compared to a general hospital, buts that’s down to government cut backs. Appointments get changed a lot, this again I would say to lack of staff. Staff are very friendly, not found them to be unfriendly as some have suggested, and I have been coming here for around 3 years on regular visits. Keep up the good work😊👍

I attended Tim's church in Los Angeles and I absolutely loved his sermons. They were real, passionate and related to our times today. His preaching is from the heart and all points to Jesus. What an amazing pastor who truly is a man after God's heart. Blessings to the church in London. I hope the Word there spreads out to the people of London and catches their hearts as the real Truth of Jesus comes back to Europe where so many people have fallen from faith because of the way certain churches have been pushing people away from our Lord. Tim and his heart on fire for the Lord has the power to bring people back to the Truth for God's great purposes. The people of Europe need to return to God. They need to rekindle and cherish a personal and deep relationship with God. Prayers for all that is done with Reality London and for all who attend there.
We felt accepted and loved from day one. This is the first church we've been to where the desire to love people is actively sought after by everyone who attends.

I run the IT department for a large law firm (500+ desktops) and we use Surplex as the service is always fast and the drivers friendly and helpful. We like to charity donations this company make and also the data policy is first class. We have used them for about five years now and I don't think we will ever move away to someone else - there is no need. I don't normally write reviews but Surplex asked me too and, to be honest, I was only too happy to help as they've always bent over backwards to accommodate my requirements.
I have used Surplex for our IT / computer recycling from both their London office and their HQ in Malvern. They are professional, speedy and their reporting is first class. The online aspect of retrieving documentation is both fast and secure. We have a particular need for data security which is why we use Surplex, they do not wipe like some other companies we have used they actually shred hard disk drives and in fact any that carries data is treated in the same manner. Mark, the MD, is very knowledgeable and completely down to earth.

Good food but irritatingingly let down like so many places these days with an underhand 12.5%= service charge , if you're charging for food why do you need a service charge? Shame really as I'd have gone back otherwise
I come here from time to time as it's near to my work. Food is delicious, staff are very welcoming and friendly. I like that they are very careful with dietary requirements, and go above and beyond to make sure that I know what I'm eating and don't compromise my dietary needs. They have some very good vegan options in amongst their regular items, Just ask the staff.

It's not a "bad" place but it could be better. Upstairs is really noisy if there are a lot of people so try get a seat downstairs. The food is quite tasty when they get it right but don't be afraid to send the hard as nails well done steak back if you ordered it medium rare originally. The service has always been impeccable.
Nice place, getting a bit tired in places. Staff a bit arrogant. Firstly it's a lovely space, open and airy with a central staircase. Service at the bar was okay, but it was while seated that we were at little disturbed but the table next to us... "Conversing" well, arguing really in quite a loud intrusive way. Typical loud "City types" I thought... But it was actually staff being "trained" in the menu. Other issues included staff shouting across the bar area to each other, and, possibly the most annoying of all, after "giving way" to a waiter on the central staircase, and, in my typical British way, apologising, being glared at! You just got the feeling that it was a nice space, and the staff felt they had customers under sufferance. Actually, although it was clearly a beautiful building, with good decor, it was getting a little tired in places, especially in the gents upstairs. Not much, but faded paint. After walking in the door, and getting a great first impression, we left just a little disappointed.

My children attended this warm and inviting Nursery from when they were 5 months old. My son now 10 and daughter 5 experienced all the age groups. They have both turned out to be very socialable and academic individuals and I feel that credit goes to the long standing practitioners and professionals that my taught my children over those vital early years. The staff showed a clear commitment to the individual needs of my children with their loving and caring attitude and I believe this was the best start I could have given them. This Nursery was truly home from home.
Hopes and Dreams was the best start Molly and Charlie could have had, and for me, total peace of mind. Hopes and Dreams is professional, secure and offers a stimulating and loving environment. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
18 North Road, London N7 9EY, UK – 020 7700 2445
Our child was at the nursery for about 18 months and we were so sad he couldn't attend further due to us moving away. He absolutely adored his teachers, who were kind, caring and couldn't do enough for him and us and it was wonderful seeing our child's confidence grow. We always felt welcomed, listened to and confident leaving our child in their care. We miss them all!
I highly recommend the TGS nursery to any parents/carers. A truly caring and nurturing environment, helping children explore so many different learning areas and build up their confidence. We particularly appreciated the constant open dialogue with the teachers.

Queensbridge Rd, London E8 4ET, UK – 020 7254 1186
Both my children attend Queensbridge Primary School and I have never experienced anything other than kindness and professionalism from the staff here. I personally think that the mark of a good school is somewhere that the children feel as though they belong to and enjoy. Where you don't have to drag them to on a rainy Monday morning. So yes I give it 5⭐.

40 Charterhouse Square, London EC1M 6EA, UK – 020 7600 3805
Charterhouse Square School is founded by original headmistress Jamie Mason with school fees set at £425 per term! Over the course of the next two decades we go on to gain a reputation for all-round academic performance. In March the school becomes part of Cognita – a worldwide group of schools founded by Sir Chris Woodhead, former head of Ofsted. In December Caroline Lloyd takes over as headmistress fifteen years after first joining the school. When space becomes available in an adjacent building, the school expands to occupy a total of seven floors in our much-coveted Barbican location. This allows the school to add a dedicated Early Years area, a school library and an art room. n further work to improve the school site, the entire basement and ground floor of number 40 is completely remodelled. The addition of bi-folding glass doors to link our Green Room to its outdoor sand and water area is a particular hit with the children. Charterhouse Square School celebrates its 30-year anniversary with a surprise party for the children and a ball for parents, teachers and friends of the school. The school is also featured in The Good Schools Guide for the first time.
