Was adequate for what I needed. Cheap and near to my destination for the following morning. Had read reviews AFTER booking so wasn't expecting to much. It is a Short walk from Tube and good position for Regent/oxford street shopping. Hotel Needs alot of TCL a coat of paint and a new cleaner. Bed was clean water hot. Lift was out of order and although 2 male members of staff at reception when I checked in no offer of help to my room with my suitcase. BREAKFAST - Coffee was good other than bacon and eggs nothing else available for hot breakfast. Cereals available if proffered.
It's not the best, but it's also not the worst. I had a good experience overall. The breakfast is satisfying and the bed was comfortable.

The location of the hotel was brilliant, a couple of minutes walk from the tube station and really easy to find. The staff were helpful and friendly and check in was really easy. It was a bit of a maze to find our room but we found it okay with directions from the receptionist. Everything was clean and tidy and the beds were really comfortable, the only problem we had was the room smelt slightly damp. Breakfast was a basic continental but still nice enough. I would stay here again, it was quite good value for money
Clean, decent size room. Staff very friendly and helpful wouldnt definitely return... reasonably priced!
Willings House, 356-364 Grays Inn Rd, Kings Cross, London WC1X 8BH, UK – 0871 984 6256
The room is quite spacious (compared to other hotels in London). We stayed there in the summer which is not great. The room only has a heater and no AC (which is actually normal in the UK). So the room was really hot eventhough we closed the drape and open the window. Great location as it's really close to King's Cross station. Good for a transit before your next train journey.
The location is fantastic, the hotel is literally across the road from Kings Cross station. However this means it is quite noisy. My room was directly above the train tracks so I was woken up early in the morning. The reception does provide earplugs though so I recommend taking up the offer! Breakfast was included. It was continental but wasn't especially great.
28 Harrison St, Kings Cross, London WC1H 8JF, UK – 020 7278 3966
Went to one of the monthly music sessions that the Harrison hosts, and it was interesting. The event was held in the basement venue, tickets were £8 which for the quality of the music and the musicians that played was pretty stunning as there isn't a bad seat in the house for this. I don't think the seating was more than two tables/four seats deep, so it was like being right up there with whomever was playing, and it didn't make much difference if the sound system had been working or not, Food and drink were available from the regular bar above, so quite literally whatever was available at the regular bar/restaurant above was also available in the basement as well. The food and drink at the Harrison is generally pretty good, but like a lot of other large establishments that are spread out over a big and quirky areas, it's a challenge for staff to serve it in a timely manner depending on the crowd. And it also depends on what staff is working at any particular time as can be seen in some of the reviews that said they had poor service, cold food etc. So it's somewhat the luck of the draw, but the establishment is capable of great food and good service. If you are attending a venue in the basement, it is not handicap accessible but there are bathrooms available here as well as elsewhere in the pub. All in all it's a pretty good venue, and big cudos to the folks at Harrisons for supporting great local music and musicians. They deserve all the support you can give them.
Delicious Sunday lunch today and very reasonably priced. Speedy service and very friendly staff. Highly recommend! 😁😁

Old reliable in the heart of Shoreditch. Shortish menu which always has a burger and fish & chips plus always a few other tasty options. Staff are very nice and there's a good selection of craft beers and wines. Good place for an informal sit down lunch.
The food was good, but I wouldn’t say great! There were two options for starter and main as a vegetarian. I had the halloumi, pumpkin and pomegranate tart, which didn’t come as I expected it to - it came with all the ingredients piled on top of some very flaky pastry, and cubes of halloumi so small I very nearly failed to identify it as halloumi 😂 it was tasty, but not substantial enough. The vegetable wellington, on the other hand, was the one - absolutely delicious! (And I had sticky toffee for dessert, also yum!)

Had the salmon and shrimp pie and it was very good. People here were friendly and helpful. I didn't have any alcohol, but being a pub it's very busy after the work day.
Great food and nicely set back from the main busy drag of Victoria

Great place if you know what to expect. You get a shared bathroom. Renovations would be in order. The stairs are very narrow. The breakfast is actually really good! The location is great, easy to to get to and from. In short, if you're looking for a cheaper place to stay but won't be staying in the room during daytime this is perfect. Load up with a big breakfast and you won't be hungry until late in the afternoon.
Very close to central London. 5 mins walk from Euston and kings cross and st Pancras station. Restaurants all are few minutes away.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!

We rented two flats from The London Agent during 2016. Both were great flats and suitable for what we needed. The first was a large family flat in Waterloo and the second a small flat just for the two of us, close to Hyde Park. We were happy with both and can recommend.
I had a lovely stay at the Modern Bloomsbury Studio at Byng Place. I was there for 5 nights and thoroughly enjoyed it. The flat was clean, comfortable, and in a great location. The kitchen was convenient for cooking breakfasts in the morning, and the bathroom was spotlessly clean! The flat had all of the things I needed for my vacation. I was traveling alone and the flat was plenty large enough for me and could've fit at least one other as well. It was less than 5 minutes away from multiple underground stations with restaurants and pubs very nearby. I will definitely stay here again if I return to London!
