One of the best hotels I have had the pleasure of staying at. Both in the Netherlands and the UK. Everything you could want. The beds are amazing and the staff cannot help you enough. Very accommodating. It's reasonably priced for London. They don't offer many discounts and it's rare the price will shift below 100 per night.
Absolutely loved this place. It is the best hotel I have stayed in a long time. The staff were amazing and friendly. The location was great.. the view from the rooftops bar was excellent, the quirky reception and hangout area was fabulous. Loved the techie features of the rooms and it was super clean...Free movies too...I would highly recommend to any visitor to London..

I really like this hotel, I live in Dubai and always stay there when I visit London. It’s right next to the Tube, walking distance to Liverpool street and just a really Cool place to stay. The rooms are quirky, clean and comfortable and you just know exactly what you’re getting from every stay. The price is very reasonable and doesn’t fluctuate too much. There is always a discount code flying around which makes you feel like you’re getting a good deal. Highly recommended if you’re looking for a place to stay for a couple of nights.
Stayed a week here (business). For me, certainly not a place for the business traveller. Comes across as a very nice hostel more than a hotel. Novelty feel - lampshades made out of hoses, interesting clothes hangers - fun at the start but then they get a bit irritating. Comfy bed with a nice TV at the end of it. Minimalistic bathroom, soap/shampoo in large tubs (used by previous guests) which were OK I guess. Do not pay extra for the breakfast - it is a very simple buffet with little or no fruit, it was very poor, you do have the option to buy more standard meals from the menu though. I had dinner in the restaurant here twice (rain), again, not the best and apart from the Australian girl, service was terrible! Reception staff were very helpful and friendly. It would be an OK place for a weekend away (eating out!)but any longer and it would start to irritate!!

We stayed here during our recent trip to London. The location in Chelsea was convenient for attending Wimbledon, which was shared by some of the pro players. I was in tennis geek heaven seeing some of these players during breakfast; see pictures. The rooms were small but that is typical of European hotel rooms. The staff were super friendly and helpful. Because we were diamond status, we were given free vouchers for small bites at the bar, and also vouchers for coffee and drinks, which was a very nice perk that we used on several occasions. If you are a fan of tennis and are attending Wimbledon, I highly recommend staying at this hotel during the first week of the tournament for pro player watching.
I stayed here with my gf and my sister and her partner for her birthday. We really enjoyed our stay. As we booked in they gave my sister a free drink card from the bar. The breakfast was more than 5 stars amazing in every way!! Only down fall was that we found the lifts quite hard to understand. Rooms were lovely too!Nice

The place is well designed and makes you feel like home. The broad choice of beers is well selected, the different wines from different countries like Romania is much appreciated. The food is the cherry on the cake: the presentation as well as the taste and the quantity are just perfect. The staff had good advice and always smiling and welcoming. Always a pleasure to come.
Broad selection of beers are the biggest attraction here, with what also looks to be a strong gastropub menu showing. We only ate a few finger foods to soak up alcohol so I can't comment with any great depth but I do think the proportions need a bit of work.. peas and hummus come with barely any peas, whitebait comes with barely any whitebait. Flavours are all there, just don't the balance was right. Still giving 4 stars as the atmosphere and service is very good.

Great place for Sunday roast. A large variety of options and so tasty. I had the lamb roast and it was delicious. Others in the group ordered the roast beef, mixed roast and the seafood pie. Everyone equally satisfied. The bloody Mary tasted a bit odd though, but I'd just recommend a different drink. Would definitely come back here for the roast!
I went to The Princess of Shoteditch yesterday for dinner with my partner and was really impressed. The menu wasn’t over fussy, and had a good selection of things to choose from that I actually wanted to eat. Everything came out well cooked and well balanced. The deserts were particularly nice, and we were told all produced on the premises. The service was also excellent, just the right balance of friendly and professional, without being overbearing. The wine selection was good, and all in all we thought very good value for money. It’s nice to see a venue on the city and Shoreditch borders that opens at weekends and had a nice buzz about it. So many are dead at weekends, or too rowdy. Next time we’ll try the all day Sunday lunch, as I’ve often found it hard to get a good roast. Well done.

Nice pub that serves tapas. They have a good selection of vegetarian tapas options too. Downstairs there is the pub area, as well as having benches outside and around the pub. Upstairs they have private dining rooms. We were here for a work dinner, and had very friendly service and a lovely, big private room.
Tapas menu full of interesting and tasty dishes (other menu just has fairly standard fare). Portions are a bit small otherwise I'd give it five stars.

Excellent - fabulous cottage booked in Threlkeld, Lake District. No hassle and very easy to book. Would definitely book again.
Booking was totally painless and ,we had a choice of potential places to stay. Acting through the agent kept a certain professional distance as a safety and peace of mind feature btween the owners agents and us the bookers.

I stayed here last year as I was in London visiting a friend. We were late checking in, but the staff were friendly and accommodating. They took us to our room which was lovely, and next to a bathroom. I didn’t notice any problems till the second day when we were trying to get a shower, the hot water wouldn’t work and I was wandering around for 20 minutes trying to find a member of staff to help. They ended up taking us to the bathrooms on the lower floors to use which were damp mouldy and full of ants. Other than the shower problem, it was a fantastic stay. The bar and restaurant look lovely and the rooms are reasonably priced. I would stay here again if I was to visit this part of London again.
Very good pub nice beer very good bar staff got no sky sport

Fantastic service and excellent location. Brilliant breakfasts and super friendly staff. The rooms are dated but it has a quaint charm. Really quiet rooms, no noise from other guests. The shared bathrooms were clean and we never had to queue.
Each time I come to London, I stay in this hotel. If you want to be in London in this hotel at a certain date, it is advisable to book many months in advance. It is more a B&B and not a hotel. Situated near the British Museum, Excellent breakfast, British and Continental. The hotel is managed by the owner and he is on-site most of the time.
If you would like something truly different you might like to have a look at Airbnb. These are mostly B and Bs provided by people on a very informal basis. The may have a spare room, a yurt, a cottage or a barge with space they can receive guests for a night or a month! The website is highly professional. You can really see what you are going to get. Very well worth a look. Airbnb also show 'conventional' B&Bs as well. Enjoy!
