Good place to shop roam and travel
You go n walk the street with smell of food leading you to one vendor to the next. Being in London I had fish and chips, served in newspaper. Love the whole experience. Enjoy!

I came to Excel tutors for English Lessons. I found the teachers very helpful and the best of the best. The management are excellent here. The lessons were really good and productive which helped me to understand what I went wrong in my previous exam. Lucky I was able to do my exam in their building as well so I was already comfortable on my exam day. And with the help of excel tutors I managed to pass my GCSE English and today I am collecting my certificate.
I have been a tutor at Excel tutors for the last 5 years and I have nothing but positive comments. The dedication that comes from the genuine care the management and tutors have for the academic success of the student is second to none. Excel tutors have been operating for nearly 10 year's and they have a very positive future ahead.

It's a very special place and unique in London. All the moorings in this cooperative are freehold moorings. Membership in the cooperative to buy a mooring is required. There are other stipulations on the type of boat, owners must reside permanently on the boat and a number of other requirements which reinforce the stated aim and charter of the place. For all intents and purposes, the only way to obtain a mooring is to purchase one of the existing boats if they come up for sale IF the sale includes the mooring. Even then you will have to be approved by the cooperative committee and meet the residency requirements but if you can manage all that you will have something truly special and unique. Needless to say, the location simply is outstanding, outstanding, outstanding. Be aware though that at high tide the moorings can get quite rough and rolly from wakes from passing marine traffic on the working river. Make sure you spend some time on the boat you intend to buy at high water so you know what you are signing up for in addition to the other stipulations and requirements. If you meet all the requirements, jump through all the hoops and take up residence, you will have a wonderful, tight knit local community with great services, good maintenance of the facilities, and a location that can't be beat.
There are regular open days where you can freely walk around and have a look at the boats.

Best way to see London and eayiest way to get into the centre and to go to Greenwich. Cheaper then the river bus if you show the ticket office a travel card or Oyster card. Takes the same amount if time as the river bus. Double decker boats, open top desk. Coffee and food, snacks and bar all on the boat and bathrooms. Live or recorded commentary in English but free headphone so you can hear 7 other languages. Friendly staff, amazing views. They also offer special boats for Afternoon tea, Lunch or Dinner cruises also very good. If you want to go to a London attraction you can save money by buying the tickets with City Cruises. Highly recommend this, better then sitting on the tube / subway train.
Its one of the best cruises to be on if u wan to.see london on the river

Great time. Fun and exciting. Great tour guides
The Thames Clipper is probably the best no-fuss transportation system along the Thames. I took it over the summer to go from Central London to Greenwich for some sightseeing, and it certainly was scenic! Believe me, the best view of the Tower Bridge is by going under it first! The price isn't cheap, but comparably, it is much cheaper than the other boats that go down/up the Thames (this one just doesn't have the commentary). If it's a nice day, don't bother sitting inside - try to grab a seat outdoors at the back of the boat. The clipper is really better than taking the tube, especially in the summer!

This was included in our London Pass and we were very impressed with the river cruise. Our guide was very knowlegable and interesting. We learned a lot and were very entertained on the brief cruise. Our pass included 24 hours of use though we only chose to ride it once. There were refreshments for sale on the boat and bathrooms. We would definitely recommend it!
It was confusing when/where to get in line, but once we figured that out the cruise was phenomenal. The tour guide was lively and informative and funny, and the sights were fantastic. Well worth the price of admission.

The beautiful Victoria Tower Gardens is located just behind the Palace of Westminster. Inside these gardens, we can see the Emmeline Pankhurst monument, the Burghers of Calais monument, the magnificent Buxton Memorial Fountain, and the Horseferry Playground. I would add that the Victoria Tower Gardens is an excellent place to take pictures because there is the Palace of Westminster in the background.
Great spot on the House of Lords end of the Houses of Parliament. Gets pretty crowded around lunch during the week, but is a pretty quiet place at the weekend. You'll find the Buxton Memorial in the middle of the park - a monument commemorating the emancipation of slaves. If you're lucky you'll see a goose or two nibbling the grass, if you're really lucky they'll be Egyptian geese

Fantastic! We really enjoyed our visit. I went with my husband and our 8 year old nephew. We were all kept interested. The interactive headset guide helped with this as it is has various functions according to age and interest. Wonderful things on display. We were lucky that there was a short talk being given at the time of our visit which was very interesting and informal with questions encouraged by a very friendly guide. Also lucky that we got a Birdseye view of the rehearsal for the trooping of the colour! The staff spotted this and with no hesitation interrupted the talk and ushered the assembled visitors to the windows so we didn't miss out. The staff clearly love what they do and are very friendly and welcoming.
Such a good historic home! No grounds outside sadly but excellent collection of art and antiques and a really interesting history laid out in an audio guide they provide. Definitely worth a visit

Had an excellent Sunday tour of the house with a very knowledgeable and comprehensive guide. Atmospheric artwork and period furnishings restored to their original condition. A couple of times a year the tours also include the garden with its exotic species. A hidden gem in Central London.
Beautiful house inside and outside. Very close to the park near green park station. Replica decor and furnishings of the original Spencer House before the war. Well worth the visit.
